About MARQEEN

MARQEEN began with a simple frustration: the finest things Kashmir makes rarely leave it with their name attached.

Shawls woven over months are sold on by the bale. Saffron picked by hand in Pampore is blended away into someone else's jar. The craft survives; the credit does not.

We do two things, and we do them under one name.

MARQEEN Women

Suits, shawls and pherans, made by artisans whose families have worked the same craft for generations. Nothing is mass-produced, and nothing is finished in a hurry — a Kani shawl can take a weaver several months.

MARQEEN Food

Mongra saffron, high-altitude walnuts, Mamra almonds, and gift boxes built for giving rather than for shelf appeal. Sourced from growers we know by name.

How we price

We set a price for each market rather than converting one base price at checkout. It means the number you see is deliberate, not the output of yesterday's exchange rate — and it is what you pay.

Where we ship from

Everything leaves from Srinagar. Where import duties apply, they are payable on delivery, and we say so before you pay rather than after.
